Facebook Messenger Spam Leads to malware infections

Please be aware of a current malware/spam campaign that is spreading via Facebook Messenger. You receive a message, usually from someone you know, with a bit.ly or t.cn shortlink to what you are lead to believe is a video. Following this link either leads you to a fake Flash Player update or Chrome extension, which then proceeds to infect your computer. As always, don't click on links from IMs or emails that you aren't expecting or at all look suspicious. Always check with the sender first, and be especially wary if any link you do follow prompts you to install anything.
